Delete your Adoptya account

From the app
Open the Adoptya app, sign in, go to Settings and tap "Delete my account". After confirmation, your account and data are deleted immediately and permanently.
If your version of the app does not offer this button yet, update it from Google Play or the App Store, or use the email request below.
By email
You can also request the deletion of your account by writing to contact@adoptya.com from your account's email address, with "Account deletion" in the subject line.
Deletion is carried out within one month at most, in accordance with the GDPR, and you receive a confirmation by email.
Data deleted
Your account (email, password, phone number, address) and your pet parent or association profile.
The animals you published and their photos, your applications, your conversations and messages, your notifications, your appointments, your match proposals, your events and your notification subscriptions.
Data kept
Adoption contracts already signed by both parties are kept, as they are the legal proof of the adoption, only for the period required by our legal obligations.
The profiles of animals adopted through an association remain visible to that association, with no link to your deleted account.
