Child Safety Standards

Last updated: October 20, 2026

Our commitment

Adoptya, the app and website published by ADOPTYA, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for any child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

These standards apply to the Adoptya app (Android and iOS) and to the adoptya.com website, for all users: pet parents, associations and shelters.

Prohibited content and behavior

Posting, sharing, requesting or distributing any content that sexualizes minors, including images, videos, text or links, is strictly prohibited on Adoptya.

Soliciting minors, grooming, sextortion, child trafficking and any attempt to use Adoptya's messaging to contact a minor for sexual purposes are also prohibited.

Minimum age

Adoptya is reserved for adults. The app and its communication features (applications, messaging) are not intended for children.

Reporting content or behavior

In the app, any user can block a conversation from the messaging screen: no further messages can then be exchanged.

Any content or behavior that puts a child at risk can be reported at any time to contact@adoptya.com, with "Child safety" in the subject line. Reports are handled as a priority.

Actions we take

Any content violating these standards is removed and the account involved is suspended or permanently deleted.

Child sexual abuse material and exploitative behavior are reported to the relevant authorities, including the French Pharos platform (internet-signalement.gouv.fr), law enforcement and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Legal compliance

ADOPTYA complies with applicable child protection laws, including French and European law, and fully cooperates with authorities in their investigations.
